About the Loft
Originally built as the Massey Harris Head Office, the building was converted in 2003 to create 46 unique loft units. This historical loft building was restored by Canderel Stoneridge and features 100+ year old original brick walls and wood post & beams. First floor units on the West side of the building have private sunken terraces looking out at the serene Massey Park. The penthouse units are an extension above the original structure that feature private rooftop terraces.
About King West Village
King West Village was originally part of the Military Reserves of the Town of York – the forerunner to the City of Toronto. In the 1830s the military reserves were auctioned off and a “New Town” development was created for this area. King West evolved as a busy industrial and manufacturing centre. Many of the old industrial buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s have recently been converted to residential and commercial uses.
